tango bio
Solomon practices being radical a little bit every day, and has ever since he was a little girl. During the rare times when he’s not dancing or thinking about tango, he is knitting, traveling, cooking, eating, listening, or being present with friends. His tango journey started in 2004 in Seattle as a follower. He took over three years of classes and workshops exclusively as a follower but rarely attended milongas because leaders don’t ask a man to dance. Solomon started leading in 2008 out of a deep need to keep dancing tango and is finally beginning to relax and enjoy it. He believes that it’s well past time that women took on the power that is already theirs, in dancing and in life.
Short of a big huge sign, he still can’t think of a good way to communicate that he’d prefer to follow.
