Tropical Zen

I have come to really love tango. This is often the case for people who have danced for more than a few years; you either love this crazy soup of momentum and rotation in time with music, or you don’t and you stop coming. A large part of anything is just showing up, so that does count for something.

In these pages, I will talk a lot about tango. Sometimes it will be my thoughts, other times it will be write-ups for classes or workshops I’m teaching or events I’m attending. Much of my best writing is done late at night when I’m churning my way through an explanation or exploration of something that was pointed out to me. I like the interactive nature of the web; it’s like having a time-lapse conversation.
